Alison Huntley
Exhibiting at St Mary's Church, Kington
In the 2000s Alison moved to Calabria in southern Italy and spent time
studying Sicilian and Calabrian maiolica ceramics. Often depicting
mythical and whimsical creatures, the inspiration from these pieces,
combined with a long held love of antique Delft tiles and the natural world,
has resulted in this series of egg tempera paintings.
