FESTIVAL SHOP WINDOW DISPLAYS
In the weeks leading up to the planned 2020 Marches Makers Festival, shops in Kington participated by showing specially designed displays in their windows. When the festival was cancelled, Clare Conrad continued curating special displays of work.
Every couple of months, Clare creates a new window - featuring art by a selection of local artists. These displays include the tools and materials with the finished work to give a behind-the-scenes insight into the thoughts and processes involved. Each window also contains biographical information on the artists and their contact details.
New window displays are being created in various locations around Kington every couple of months and will continue right through to the 2021 Marches Makers Festival - 28, 29 and 30 August 2021.
