FESTIVAL SHOP WINDOW DISPLAYS
In the weeks leading up to the planned 2020 Marches Makers Festival, shops in Kington participated by showing specially designed displays in their windows. When that festival was cancelled, Clare Conrad continued curating special displays of work until the 2021 Festival (see the displays here).
Now we are into 2022 and busily preparing for our next Festival. Clare has started to weave her magic to create more beautiful window displays to showcase work in the 2022 Festival.
Clare creates windows featuring art by a selection of local artists. These displays often include the tools and materials with the finished work to give a behind-the-scenes insight into the thoughts and processes involved. Each window also contains biographical information on the artists and their contact details.
New window displays are being created in various locations around Kington and will continue right through to the 2022 Marches Makers Festival - 30th April and 1st and 2nd May.
