Marches Makers Folk

at

The Oxford Arms

Duke Street, Kington (Venue 8 on the map)

Saturday 30th April---Doors 7.30pm---Entry - Donations Welcome

Join us for a musical May Day celebration of folk
showcasing local performers from Kington Folk Club

The club formed last year aiming to offer a regular, welcoming event for people to play and enjoy folk music. It aims to foster local musical talent, build confidence and create connections within the community.

The Oxford has welcomed the group and housed the monthly club free of charge which has, so importantly, made it accessible to all. Music (alongside other creative arts) is a shared experience, which has a magic all of its own.

‘Songs bring a gathering together, and the Club is doing a very good job at that: long may it continue.’
Andy Davies, concertina, Kington Folk Club

Kington Folk Club meets every last Thursday of the month - next Folk Club Thursday 28th April
All acoustic - all welcome

Turn up, get a slot, play a couple of songs or tunes, or just come to listen
Repeat until fade...
