Words of the People
From doglogarum to thunderberries, join the Oxford Arms for a special Words of the People celebration! Tying in with the
theme of Folk and its expression, we will be focussing on the wonderful local dialect and words from around Herefordshire and the Marches. We’ll be recording fading and perhaps forgotten words on an illustrated map,
alongside an exhibition and spotlight talks.
You can see and share the Words of the People in the barn and courtyard, with good access and seating. Refreshments at the bar, hot food and drinks from the cafe will be available over the festival weekend. Dogs are welcome.
