Studied Fine Art at Leicester College of Art, Chelsea School of Art and a Post Graduate Teaching Certificate at London University. My practice uses natural earth pigments, both dry and in paint form, and is predominantly abstract. Traces and Earthworks are themes used to reflect my interest in structure and contrast with the spontaneity of mark making.
I have opened my studio during the Herefordshire Art Week (h.Art) most years since 2002. Visitors are fascinated by my practice involving natural earth pigments. Also, a weekly sketch book image, now totalling over 500 works. An opportunity to see work in progress, demonstrations and a selection of artist cards.
