Marches Makers is a group of artists, crafters and makers based in and around the market town of Kington, nestled in the Marches border country of Herefordshire between England and Wales. Kington has become something of a focal point for makers of all kinds over the years, and we felt we should come together to support each other, promote the fruits of our labours and let the world know just how much lovely stuff there is here.
Art and Craft
Marches Makers consists of all kinds of making, from ancient rural crafts to cutting-edge modern art. If human hands can make it, it’s probably here somewhere in this rich mix of talent, history, innovation, creativity, imagination, landscape and love. Because we love what we do, and this comes across in the care, time and energy we put into our making.
This year we are organising a Marches Makers Festival on the Spring Bank Holiday: Saturday 5 to Monday 7 May. For more information see the tab above.
