Art Exhibition by Kington Primary School
Border Bean 22-24 High Street, Kington HR5 3AX Open Sat 9.30-4, Sun 10-3, Mon 9.30-4 during the Festival ‘Classroom Storybooks’ - a selection of artwork from pupils of Kington Primary School inspired by the class storybook. Border Bean was established in October 2013 by Beccy Haydon and Kathy Thompson running as a successful coffee shop/café in the heart of the small market town of Kington. We enjoy working with our small team offering homemade cakes, freshly prepared soups, light lunches and speciality coffee, teas, hot chocolate and a variety of cold drinks. We aim to source local produce wherever possible. We pride ourselves in providing a friendly, inclusive welcome and offer a safe and comfortable space for people to meet, relax and enjoy. |
Our wall space is always full of artwork supporting local artists. For some it’s their first opportunity of exhibiting publicly whilst for others, it’s another way to reach a wider range of customers. We have hosted art exhibitions from students at the local High School and support the annual Marches Makers Festival and Kington artists involved in H Art. We also offer room for craft groups to meet regularly as well as other local groups and charities.
Disabled access, A ‘Safe Place’ (Herefordshire Mencap initiative), child friendly, walker & cyclist friendly! We are also a dementia friendly business.
