Marches Makers Museum of Curiosity is a collection of ubiquitous and intriguing objects. Visitors to the festival are invited to become co-curators of the collection by contributing stories to build the object biographies. Details about where the acquisitions came from, what they are, who may have owned them, what events they may have been present at. Join us in creating imaginary tales to attach to the museum exhibits.

Make a Story Doll with Cheryl Hewitt - Workshop
During this two-hour workshop you will create a Story Doll out of recycled textiles, beads, and (if you like) a token you bring that has meaning to you. In choosing materials, colours and embellishments and stitching them together with attention and intention, you will create a treasure imbued with personal meaning. This is a 2 hour workshop for older teenagers and adults with some stitchery experience. The workshop is free but you must register ahead of time as spaces are limited. Please click on the button below to register your interest.
