Meet the Marches Makers Team
Marches Makers is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation by and for artists and makers.
Here are some of the people who make the Marches Makers Festivals happen....
Patrick Conrad - Chairman
My professional background has been in educational management and project management in a UK and European context. I am now retired and taking the opportunity to make a contribution to community participation in the visual arts through my involvement with the Marches Makers Festival. |
Clare Conrad - Exhibition Designer and Displays
I am a ceramicist. I gained BA (hons) at UWE In 1987 and have exhibited widely since then. I moved to Kington in 2017 and was delighted to find so many artists working in the area. When Marches Makers invited me to join the committee to help with display in 2020, I was pleased to join the group. |
Nancy Frost - Coordinator for the Market Hall
I am a potter and maker of mixed media collages. For the festival I’m part of the team bringing demonstrations and hands-on activities to the Kington Market Hall. Our aim is to create a space where visitors can both see artists at work, and find opportunities to express their own creativity. |
Stuart Roper - Publicity and Marketing
As part of the festival committee my main job is to create the Marketing collateral - Leaflets, Poster and signage. All based on the excellent branding that was created for the first Festival in 2018. A fun job using the fabulous images created by the Marches Makers Festival artists. |
