The festival this year featured 36 artists and makers in the curated exhibition in St Mary's Church, 8 Open Studios, 5 Independent Exhibitions, and live theatre, music, dance and film!

The Christine Forrester Prize 2026
Huge congratulations to Kathryn Moore on her very well deserved win of the Christine Forrester memorial prize.
The prize is given to the exhibitor at each Festival who most embodies the qualities that inspired Christine to set up the Festival in the first place - celebrating the creativity and originality of artists and makers in this part of the border, and the power of the arts to enrich communities.
Two of her paintings were on display in the church exhibition, and her Kat & Fiddle Studio, 37 Church Street, was an Open Studio venue.
