Exhibiting at St Mary's Church, Kington
I create monoprints using the ancient technique of suminagashi: Japanese paper marbling. Water-based inks are floated on water, guided into a pattern then ‘printed’ by carefully lowering paper onto the water surface. Each piece of suminagashi captures a unique moment of time.
