Marches Makers Festival Artist 2019
Cara Williams
As a child I spent the my early years in the leafy South Downs before moving to Hong Kong in my teens.
I returned to England and studied at Canterbury College of Art. I then moved to London to work as a photographer before running Images Photography Library. This gave me the opportunity to travel the world to source great images for the library collection, thus providing the media, advertising and publishing industry with quality photographic art work.
Determined however that my own family would have the rural childhood I remembered, climbing trees, building dams and making camp, we left our hectic London lives and moved to Herefordshire.
Now I am returning to my creative roots and have started drawing, painting and print making, with the natural environment as my inspiration.
