Marches Makers Festival Artist 2019
Denise Fordyce
After moving to Herefordshire in the 1980's I studied painting, printmaking and photography atHereford College of Art, later joining the printmaking group at Sidney Nolan Trust near Presteigne.
I use drawing and photography as a basis for both painting and printmaking, often combining different media. Dramatic landscapes such as the Pembrokeshire coast, rivers and wild countryside are all favourite subjects and recently the old steam and diesel engines at Hereford Waterworks Museum have inspired a series of mixed media paintings.
