I sculpt animals in polymer clay, using earth pigments and other natural materials to colour and texture the clay. Many of my pieces aim to capture the noble and tender qualities of animals that are less traditionally appealing. I am also drawn to poses that challenge my skill as a sculptor, as in this springbok leaping into the air.
