I have been making things using fabrics and yarns all my life. Weaving tapestries is my most recent obsession and is probably my favourite thing to do. It is a slow and meditative process which gives me time to think and dream as I rummage around my baskets of yarns and silks to find wonderful colour combinations. At the moment I am experimenting with weaving 3 dimensional pieces such as masks and vessels.
My other love is sewing quilts - either for the bed or, as shown here, as decorative stitched wall art.
