Marches Makers Festival Artist 2022
Katie Chetwood
I have recently moved to Brilley. My art has always been inspired by forests and trees and their energy. I work with natural and recycled materials and get drawn to a specific tree via its energy. I find it enthralling drawing this as when I work, I can feel the shared energy.
Working with energy is exciting because I'm drawing the aesthetics and details, but the energy of the tree or forest almost freely inputs, so I never know what texture or ideas will come through the pieces I create.
