The Kington Art Society (KAS) meets every Thursday afternoon at Kingswood Village Hall (the hall is fully accessible), Kingswood Road, Kington, HR5 3HE (near the Small Breeds Farm), between 1.30 and 4.00 pm. There are 34 members and about half attend on a regular basis to paint in a variety of mediums and to share their love of art.
KAS has visiting artists who either give a demonstration or take a class. In addition, visits to art venues are also arranged. Members are friendly, and many enjoy the social side of our meetings. Refreshments are served mid-afternoon (cost £1.00). It is an opportunity to share experiences and comment on one another’s work. Everyone is very supportive and always very helpful. Membership £15 per year. |
