Marches Makers Festival Artist 2022
Lucy Baxendale
Exhibiting at Made in the Marches Gallery
Lucy Baxendale works predominately in porcelain to create sculptural pieces inspired by imaginary worlds. She uses a form of surrealist automatism to produce ink & graphite drawings which become the starting point for her 3D work, and she is captivated with the process of translating a 2D image into a 3D form and how it develops as it changes dimensions.
