Richard Bavin

Richard Bavin is a contemporary artist exploring light, weather and mood in the landscapes of Herefordshire. As an arborealist, he has a passion for trees and woodlands, which form the focus of his work, working in watercolour, oils and drawing media.
He is resident artist with the Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, and last year was based at The Birches Farm Nature Reserve, near Kington. In 2022 he will be collaborating with the Yazor Brook Regeneration Project in Hereford.
Alongside his creative work, he is an active campaigner for the sustainable management of our natural environment, urging and supporting governmental agencies to protect our trees, woodlands and rivers.
