This soft, tactile material creates beautiful textural effects when woven. This course will teach you basic and more advanced basketry weaves to create a small shoulder bag. Handles can be attached to go over the shoulder, or a fastening added to make an iPad pouch. This course will appeal to those wishing to explore basketmaking in soft materials and offers an ideal cross-over project for everyone interested in textiles. |

Venue: Baptist Church Hall Date: Sunday 29th August Time: 10am to 5pm Cost: £65 Coffee, tea and biscuits will be available throughout the day, bring a picnic lunch or buy lunch in town. Requirements: Bring an apron if you like to wear one. A pen, notebook and camera are handy if you want to record what you are doing.
