Marches Makers Festival Artist 2021
Shannon Donovan
(Artist has withdrawn from the exhibition)
Shannon Donovan is a ceramicist and budding printmaker who thinks of her artistic practice as a process of visual translation. She delights in reinterpreting ordinary and overlooked features of urban and rural life, and she generally adheres to the maxim that exuberance is better than taste.
Since earning a BA(Hons) Design from the Glasgow School of Art in 2006, Donovan has had three solo exhibitions and her work has been featured in over 30 juried exhibitions. In 2018, she was awarded first prize in the h.Art Prize Exhibition.
