I studied Fine Art at Leicester College of Art, Chelsea School of Art and a Post Graduate Teaching Cert. at London University.
I began my teaching career in London and moved to Herefordshire in 1971. Throughout my teaching career in Art and Design I was conscious to maintain my practice as an artist and to exhibit regularly. I retired from teaching to continue my own studio practice in 2004. I have also been involved in organising many local community arts events and exhibitions.
My earth pigment paintings have been exhibited widely in Herefordshire and Shropshire as well as nationally.
